Island Salmon Rice Bowls
Looking for a flavorful, filling dinner? Make a pot of rice, roast salmon slathered with our beloved Island Sauce and you’re there.
What is our Island Sauce like? Flavors of bright green onions, sweet pineapple and honey, spicy jalapeños and ginger, a zing of lime juice and a warm jerk spice blend mingle together in each bite.
Ingredients:
1 Fillet Salmon
1 Cup Rice
1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
1/4 Cup Beachfront Foods Island Sauce
2 each Scallions, sliced
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 450ºF .
Combine rice with a pinch of salt and 2 cups of water in a pot. Add lime juice and salt. Trust us! This extra squeeze of acidity will bring your rice to a whole new level. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer until tender.
Meanwhile, season the salmon fillet with salt and brush with Beachfront Foods Island Sauce.
Roast salmon in a cast iron skillet or on a parchment-lined sheet pan in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until cooked through.
Serve cooked salmon over a bed of rice, with another slather of Island Sauce and sliced scallions.
